Public Hearing Notice – Memphis City Schools
January 26, 2010
The Memphis City Schools Board of Commissioners will host a public hearing to present to the public a proposal to merge Caldwell Elementary School with Guthrie Elementary School. Citizens will have an opportunity to participate in a question and answer session with Memphis City Schools administrative staff. Students who attend the following schools will be affected by the proposed merger:
- Caldwell Elementary School
- Guthrie Elementary School
- Gordon Elementary School
- Cypress Middle School
- River City High School
- Parents of students who attend these schools are encouraged to participate in the public hearings.
- There will be two opportunities to attend one of these public hearings:
- Tuesday, January 26, 2010 – 6 PM @ Caldwell Elementary (230 Henry Ave.)
- Tuesday, February 2, 2010 – 6 PM @ Guthrie Elementary (951 Chelsea Ave.)
- Light Refreshments Will Be Served –
